Whether it's for me to say or if you agree or not, sculpting your rough manuscript into a piece of literary genius is a lengthy labour of love, and without the love you have for writing; which drives your diligence to sculpt a best seller from the mindless text you laid out on paper. You might as well go back to your nine to five and forget about even trying to scrape an income from one of the hardest professions to date. That's right, writing is without a doubt one of the most difficult careers to crack the big time in. According to the stats, over 90% of writers will fail.
What Are The Odds Of Getting Published? At first glance, it may seem difficult, if not impossible to get your novel published. After all, literary agents receive thousands upon thousands of submissions. Editors are swamped with manuscripts. Publishers already have a long line of books ready to go and only a fraction of these books will actually make money.
Bookstores already have too many books to choose from. There are already 130 million books in print.
