What a wonderful weekend

Well now, I had the most amazing weekend for quite some time, firstly, Saturday was taken up with a whole day of writing. I began the third book in EYES OVER EARTH and laid out the first seven A4 pages of text in the story so far. It mightn't sound like a great deal of writing, however, I did only spend three and a half hours on typing out the events for the story; the rest of the time I used to mull over and write down an outline of guidelines the story should follow. So, now comes the detailed part where you craft a book, remembering to keep the personalities you chose to give your characters the same as in the first and second books. I cant tell you how many times I've read a series of books where the writer has changed the overall personality of their main character to suit a change in the story-line of the book series. Secondly, Sunday I used the time to catch up with a brother I've not seen for 14 years, of course we've kept in touch over the phone, but I must confess, there's nothing quite like talking face-to-face.
